Why are GIS relevant to you?
Because Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are map-based methods that will help you understand and manage how women, girls, boys and men occupy a common space and how they benefit (or not) from its resources. They can help you identify and implement non-violent, inclusive and sustainable means to resolving conflict over that space.
In other words, GIS can build peace by enabling consensus on how to share space.
